Movie Swords - Do You Collect Them?
Are you a movie fan & a sword collector?
Did you know that you can combine both of these hobbies? This is what i have done and i must say that since then my sword collection as been greatly improved.
As a movie fan, I am proud to say that i own around 450 movies and that’s not counting the ones my wife has. As for my swords collection I have around 10 samurai swords 5 wakizashi and 5 tanto. Recently i decide to upgrade my collection by developing a second branch. Since i am such a movie fanatic I decided to start collecting movie swords.
Of course the standards must be the same as when i am buying samurai swords. Quality is a must.
Note: When looking for a movie sword you should always be looking the official manufacturer and by that i mean the one that did the official props in the movie, this is the only way that will guarantee you get a quality collectible sword. Other replicas, in most cases are just low quality replica’s that are simply not worth it.
So when i started collecting movie swords, I started collecting Lord of the Ring Movie Swords…LOTR sword are manufactured by United Cutlery and designed by Kit Rae himself. I don’t have to tell you that I made the right decision by starting with those weapons, they might only be collectible items, but they are of the highest quality.
There are so many items to collect from the movie lord of the ring that I tried to enumerate all the collectible weapons, but it was so long that I had to separate the list in two pages.
